Richmond deed filings show few open-market sales in latest reporting period
Richmond recorded 16 property deeds between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only four disclosed a sale price, ranging from $65,000 to $315,000 with a median of $175,000. Most other filings were mortgage discharges, family trust transfers or municipal lien and land-classification records rather than open-market sales, including a $65,000 trust-to-trust transfer on East Road. With so few arm's-length sales disclosed, the data offers a limited picture of buyer demand or pricing trends for the period.
